CBD Vape Juice

CBD vape juice guide

What is CBD?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is an active ingredient present in cannabis. It may be made from a hemp plant or cannabis, both of which are derived from the Cannabis sativa plant. Unlike the other main ingredient, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it is not psychoactive (THC) and will not cause a "high" feeling. Legal CBD products cannot contain more than 0.2% THC.

When CBD is extracted, it's mixed with carrier oil, such as MCT (Fractionated Coconut) oil or hemp seed oil to create CBD oil.

Types of CBD

CBD is extracted from the plant using a variety of methods by companies that are making CBD products. The different diffusions lead to a variety of CBD types.

There are three main kinds of CBD, each with a unique combination of ingredients and concentrations:

  • Full-spectrum: Consists of the entire cannabis plant. Products with full spectrum include less than 0.2%.
  • Broad-spectrum: This has the majority of the chemicals found in the cannabis plant. Broad-spectrum products have trace amounts of THC, unlike full-spectrum products.
  • Isolates: Do not include trace amounts of THC or any other cannabinoids than CBD. Isolated CBD products could not have any noticeable effects.

What is CBD E-Liquid or CBD Vape Juice?

CBD vape juice or CBD vape e-liquid is a CBD oil that has been particularly manufactured to be used in a vapouriser. There are no fillers, essential oils, vitamin E acetate, or other possibly harmful additives in CBD vape juice. CBD, flavourings, and additives like propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin are frequently included in CBD vape oil.

CBD vaping has various advantages over CBD tincture use. Vaping CBD is the quickest way for the compound to work its way into your bloodstream. This would allow you to enjoy its effects without having to wait for your body to digest and absorb an oral CBD medication.

If you are already accustomed to vaping e-liquid, taking CBD e-liquid is another effective way that you can carry out with your rechargeable vape pen without having to buy any additional equipment.

Is CBD vape oil better than CBD oil tinctures?

Unlike CBD e-liquids, most CBD oil tinctures are created using full-spectrum hemp extract. This kind of extract includes the entire spectrum of beneficial cannabinoids, terpenes, and other substances found in hemp. These substances function synergistically to boost the effects (the entourage effect).

In contrast, most CBD vape juice products contain CBD isolate, a more refined but less potent version of CBD. However, you may get around this drawback by particularly opting for CBD juice produced with full-spectrum hemp extract.

It's also more affordable because it provides longer-lasting health benefits than vaped CBD, which typically only lasts 1-2 hours. Sublingual CBD tinctures frequently last 3 hours or longer, meaning you can enjoy the benefits of smoking CBD for longer.

If you want to feel the effects of CBD right away, vaping it could be just as effective as consuming CBD oil. In these circumstances, vaping CBD is far more practical than waiting 10–30 minutes for your CBD oil tincture to take effect.

Another significant advantage of vaping CBD over a sublingual tincture is convenience. Although you may take your tincture with you everywhere you go, it is not nearly as discreet and portable as a vape pen that just requires a single puff to operate.

CBD E-Liquid Strengths

CBD content in e-liquids is usually stated in mg/ml. Beginners may start with 1-2 mg of CBD vape strength and wait for a few hours before dosing again to give the cannabinoid's full benefits time to take effect. Depending on how they want to take CBD, each person may need a different dosage, but it's vital to start slowly to prevent any adverse effects.

Some users require higher CBD vape juice strengths. However, it's important to keep in mind that high CBD vape liquids, which may range from 200 to 1,000 mg per day, are often only chosen by experienced vapers (where the average vaper may consume between 10-30mg per day).

Most vape tanks may store anywhere from 0.5 mL to more than 5 mL, depending on the vape tank you're using. The total capacity and potency are often mentioned upfront on oil cartridges, which makes dosing quite simple.

What Does CBD E-Liquid Taste Like

In flavoured CBD e-liquids, the taste of the CBD will not be noticeable due to the variety of flavours that have been added. However, in unflavored e-liquids, the taste of the CBD will be noticeable and can vary, although it is frequently characterised as quite earthy and grassy.

How much CBD should I vape?

There is no "right" dosage of CBD for vaping. That's because people will react to CBD products differently and no one dosage for CBD works for everyone.

The ideal CBD dosage will vary depending on several factors, including the user's weight, metabolism, and diet. Your daily dose of CBD for vaping will also depend on the concentration of CBD in the vape oil and the power of the battery in the vape device. For instance, you won't need to inhale as frequently as you would with a lesser concentration of CBD if the vape tank's concentration is high.

Is CBD E-Liquid Legal

CBD is legal in the UK as long as it contains less than the UK legal limit of THC which is 0.2%. The CBD oil UK legislation also specifies that CBD products must fulfil specific conditions to be legally available for human consumption.

It is important to purchase any CBD products from reputable websites, pharmacies, or stores to ensure that these products are suitable for ingestion. In case of uncertainty, see your doctor or a pharmacist. Always read the label before ingesting CBD products.

Side Effects of CBD E-Liquid

CBD e-liquid may also cause adverse effects. This may include the following:

  • Dry mouth
  • Low blood pressure
  • Light-headedness
  • Drowsiness

The risk of side effects increases with chronic use and high doses.

Storage and Safe Use

Keep all of your vaping e-liquids in a cold, dark area, away from children, elderly people, and animals.

If you're using CBD e-liquid, be sure there are no negative effects, such as drowsiness, before driving or doing any duties that demand your complete and safe attention.

How long does E-Liquid last?

Once opened, E-Liquid can last up to 2 years if the cap is tightly secured and the container is carefully kept. The best approach to ensure that the e-liquid lasts the whole two years is to keep it out of the sun and cold and dark, as sunlight can degrade the chemicals.

When should I replace my coil?

Coils must be replaced regularly, depending on consumption and other factors. The type of e-liquid used and how the device is used may all affect the lifespan of your coil. The wick and other components in your vape coil ultimately burn up and become unusable over time as a result of the repeated heating caused by the e-liquid flowing through it. This may also result in your e-liquid losing flavour or even becoming brown.

Another indication that your vape coil needs to be changed is if your vape tank has suddenly started slowly dripping e-liquid or gurgling. A good general rule of thumb is that a coil's lifespan should be between 2 and 14 days.
